Why shouldn’t we begin the day nourishing our bodies? There is truly no better way to start the day than this green protein smoothie. Full of nutrients, protein, and healthy fat, it will keep your blood sugar stable and sustain you for hours. Plus, if your diet during the day falls short, at least you know you started it off on the right track! Enjoy.
- 1 banana
- 4-5 strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- large handful baby spinach
- large handful baby kale
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- ¾ cup almond milk
- 1 scoop protein powder (I like Terra's vanilla whey)
- a handful of ice
- Put all ingredients in high powered blender or Vitamix and run until smooth.
